About PJCS2026 Game Division

PJCS2026 Game Division is the official live tournament to determine Japan's number one Pokémon Champion. Top players from qualifying online tournaments will earn invitations to the live event held in June. The tournament features intense Double Battles using Regulation M-A ruleset.

Qualifying Tournaments

Global Challenge 2026

• Dates: May 1-4, 2026
• Format: Pre-registration required
• Top 640 players per category advance to PJCS2026 Qualifying

PJCS2026 Qualifying Tournament

• Date: May 10, 2026
• Format: Invitation-only (Global Challenge winners)
• Pre-registration required
• Top 128 players per category earn live event invitations

PJCS2026 Live Championship

• Dates: June 6-7, 2026
• Format: Invitation-only (PJCS2026 Qualifying winners)
• Confirmation of participation required

Age Categories

• Junior Category: Born 2014 or later
• Senior Category: Born 2010-2013
• Master Category: Born 2009 or earlier

Battle Format

All tournaments use Regulation M-A with Double Battle format. Detailed regulation information will be available in-game after Pokémon Champions launches.

Important Information

• Only players with Japan set as their region in Pokémon Champions are eligible
• Each player can only hold one invitation to PJCS2026
• Multiple accounts per player violates tournament rules and will result in penalties
• Identity verification at the live event is required
• Only residents of Japan may participate in the live championship
